SUMMARY:Precinct/Building Captain Training
DESCRIPTION:The Democratic party built their power\, in part\, through a Precinct Captain model. We can use this model but lead with love and justice. This is an opportunity to take on increased responsibility for working your precinct or your big building. Join ONE People’s Campaign to learn the responsibilities of this role and get the materials you need to start meeting your neighbors and talking about the future we want to build together. Elections are a great opportunity to knock on your neighbors’ doors and get to know them while also helping candidates you respect win! No previous knowledge is necessary\, just a willingness to talk to your neighbors! We will provide pizza and the materials necessary for this role. This training will be in-person at the ONE People’s Campaign office at 4648 N Racine on Thursday\, September 12th from 5:30-7:00pm. With COVID prevalent in our communities\, we are asking folks to wear a mask when not eating or drinking and to stay home if you are feeling unwell.
